Learning in Cobham Hall’s Sixth Form is stimulating and exciting and allows you to develop yourself both academically and personally. All Sixth Form students are considered leaders of our School, and this increased responsibility coupled with increased independence, self-reliance and self-awareness creates an environment which prepares you for life beyond school. One of our greatest strengths lies in our ability to provide opportunity. The opportunity for you to thrive academically; to enhance leadership skills; to develop resilience; and to take responsibility for yourselves and others. We provide numerous opportunities for you to achieve a feeling of pride in your endeavours and we whole-heartedly believe that we will provide you with an inspiring environment as we aim to enhance your intellectual curiosity and creativity.
Our curriculum goes beyond the traditional, placing value on both academic and non-academic successes. Our whole school ethos of ‘there is more in you than you think’ will encourage you to develop, or indeed discover, your talents and interests. We will foster in you the ability to think critically and challenge assumptions; we will support you to develop confidence and become an open-minded, knowledgeable and principled thinker. We want you to be challenged, to take risks in a supportive environment and to be unafraid of failing; our rigorous academic structure and our co-curricular activities will allow meaningful experiences that will enhance your self-development. Virtually all our Year 13 students go on to university, some elect to study highly academic routes, such as Oxbridge and Russell Group institutes, some opt for more vocational courses and some wish to continue their studies abroad. Whatever your preference, our aim is to ensure that you are happy, motivated and considerate: empowered to be the best you can be, secure in the knowledge that you will leave us equipped for an ever-changing future, fully prepared to embrace the challenges that lay ahead.

It is quite often the case that there is more to a school than a website can convey. With Cobham Hall, that is especially true.
In September 2022, our Sixth Form became co-educational, and we have been delighted to welcome the first boys to Cobham Hall. We believe our co-educational Sixth Form provides the ideal environment for those in Years 12 and 13 to begin to prepare academically and socially for life at university. In our stunning new Sixth Form Centre, there is ample opportunity for students to work, learn and interact together.
We would be delighted to offer you a taste of life at Cobham Hall, and to share with you the benefits of our Sixth Form and the extra support and individual focus we give to prepare students for the next stage of their education.

Curriculum
Our Sixth Form Programme is based around A Levels as the academic core, with a range of complementary elements. Students leave Cobham Hall with the skills universities and employers look for: complex problem-solving, project and time management, critical thinking, creativity, teamwork, and compassion. Cobham Hall offers a wide range of A Level subjects from which pupils will normally select three.
Sixth Form Life
Life in our Sixth Form is a unique experience. It is friendly, fun, supportive and full of opportunity. We provide an inspirational environment to enable each student to flourish. Our school ethos encourages development of the whole person and we take immense pride in the exceptional successes of our students; beyond academic achievement to personal development and social responsibility.
University Destinations
We’re proud of our aim to support every student’s educational journey so that they are able to leave Cobham Hall confident in their abilities, and ready to go to their destination of choice. For some, they may continue their learning through experience by taking a Gap Year to travel or undertake various service placements. Others will head to university. Cobham Hall girls have gone on to study at leading universities, including Oxford, Cambridge, UCL (University College London), Durham and Imperial College.
